چکیده
Deployable membrane structures have received wide attention in many engineering applications, such as the military, aerospace, and aviation. Their properties of light weight high storage ratio meet requirements for aerospace exactly. In this paper, wrapping deployment inspired by leaves are simulation-analyzed prospective improvement. Three leaf-inspired patterns investigated discussed from corresponding paper-craft design principles process perspectives. The performance evaluation system according to factors effecting working including maximum stress, driving force, strain energy, smoothness index, folding height is established based on results simulation analysis. Then, a comparison between three carried out system. Moreover, it found that adding creases reduces folded but development gets worse. There balance when additional added. can provide useful suggestions designing structures.

Deployment Simulation of Ultra-lightweight Inflatable Structures
Dynamic deployment analyses of folded inflatable tubes are conducted to investigate modeling issues related to the deployment of solar sail booms. The analyses are necessary because ground tests include gravity effects and may poorly represent deployment in space. A control volume approach, available in the LS-DYNA nonlinear dynamic finite element code, and the ideal gas law are used to simulat...
متن کاملSimulation of Deployment Dynamics of In atable Structures
Analytical simulation of the in ation process of in atable structures is key to assessing their robust deployment in a space environment. Although the problem seems to be intractable, a simpli ed nite volume in ation model is developed, which allows discretized description of the gas ow, pressure variation, and resulting nonlinear large deformation throughout domains of the in atable s...
متن کاملCooperative wrapping of nanoparticles by membrane tubes.
The bioactivity of nanoparticles crucially depends on their ability to cross biomembranes. Recent simulations indicate the cooperative wrapping and internalization of spherical nanoparticles in tubular membrane structures. In this article, we systematically investigate the energy gain of this cooperative wrapping by minimizing the energies of the rotationally symmetric shapes of the membrane tu...
متن کاملBio-inspired Deployment of Distributed Applications
This paper presents an approach to developing and managing selforganizing distributed computing systems. The approach is used to construct an application as a dynamic federation of mobile components that can migrate from computer to computer while the application is being executed. It also enables each component to explicitly define its own migration policy as the migration of other components....
متن کاملParticle Swarm Inspired Underwater Sensor Self-Deployment
Underwater sensor networks (UWSNs) can be applied in sea resource reconnaissance, pollution monitoring and assistant navigation, etc., and have become a hot research field in wireless sensor networks. In open and complicated underwater environments, targets (events) tend to be highly dynamic and uncertain. It is important to deploy sensors to cover potential events in an optimal manner. In this...
